There are a number of problems that can cause the home internet to become unresponsive and some of them can certainly be solved by yourself, by a few simple actions:
- Turn off the router for a minute and turn it back on. If it didn't help, work on step 2
- Check that the router is firmly connected to the communication cable
- If you are using the wireless network, make sure you are connected to the correct network
- Try connecting the router to the computer
